Big 3 Proposing Financial Relief to Lower Ranked Players
Read at Sports Illustrated There has been many players asking about how they are going to get paid while no tournaments are going on. Unlike almost all other major sports, tennis players have no guaranteed income outside of sponsors. Over the weekend it was revealed that the Big 3 of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have worked on a plan for the top 100 players to all pitch in money to then distribute to those who are struggling. It sounds like a great plan, and one that is welcomed to see as the players are starting to work together.
