Direct Fuel Bites: These are suggested to make when you are in need of quick energy. Make these fuel bites in advance so they are ready to go before, during, or following your next workout. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons coconut oil
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon lime juice
Sea salt to taste
In a food processor, combine all ingredients; process until smooth. Form mixture into a ½ inch thick rectangle. Cut into bite-size pieces. Individually wrap in cellophane and store in the refrigerator or freezer. These will keep well in the freezer for up to three months and for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
