The Daily Workout: May 5

What better way to kick off Cinco de Mayo than with an endorphin rush?! Join JNCC Fitness Director Paige in an intense sweat session that requires ZERO equipment, followed by a 15-minute core finisher. Full workout details can be found below, or tune into the video to workout alongside Paige.

Cardio Series - The cardio series is broken up into 4 pairs of exercises, following a 30/10 pattern (30 seconds of work, 10 seconds of rest). Complete each pair of movements for 5 rounds before progressing to the next set.
  • 1a. Squat jump front to knee (alternating)
  • 1b. Squat pulse
  • 2a. Fly jacks
  • 2b. Plank In-Out Lunge (alternating left and right)
  • 3a. 4 Cross-jabs + 4 high knees
  • 3b. Power jacks
  • 4a. Crab kicks
  • 4b. Side-to-side cross lunge touches

Core Finisher - Following the same structure, this finisher has 3 movements instead of two. This time, complete each tri-set for 3 rounds before progressing to the next, following the same 30/10 pattern.
  • 1a. Sit-ups
  • 1b. Fishtails
  • 1c. Wide cross reaches
  • 2a. Hip lifts
  • 2b. Glute raises
  • 2c. Hover rolling T's
  • 3a. Downward dog - extend right
  • 3b. Downward dog - extend left
  • 3c. Plank hold
